Meditation and modern society, wellness and relaxing into the SPAs.

The recent photographic mission had been tough. It was full of satisfaction as I reached all my photographic goals but it was too tensed. Life of many of us is on the same line, always running, always kilometres, always heading toward a result or an objective. On one hand, life imposes us this life style if we want to keep above the water and swim but we, completely plunged into the western culture, tend as cultural background to be on the crest of this frenetic linearity wave. Meditation is something we are completely missing, that moment, typical of oriental disciplines, in which we concentrate, we think, we meditate and we stop. It seems almost impossible to think at such kind of moments in our modern over-hyper connected society, always connected, shared and running but that it hides the real dimension of time. Even if for only few hours, this time I had a stop in this amazing wellness centre not so far from Krakow. In the Eastern countries, as in our mountains, probably helped by the harsh winters, the wellness centres are all over. Relax oasis made of saunas, thermal pools and meditation rooms with relaxing music. We should dedicate more time being disconnected, off line, in some place that helps both, mind and physical wellness. Ops, I’m sorry, time is over, now I need to be back into the frenetic life.

In the photo the Welness Centre of the Hotel Azalia, a place where you can meet the Polish hospitality, in a perfect position for who is travelling for business or traveling by car on the road. The hotel is also reachable with public transport from Krakow.
